-She started crawling at nine months.
-She has six teeth, her two front top teeth have a huge gap.
-Gigi is a chatter box, always talking.
-She loves talking on the phone and having pretend conversations.
-She has separation anxiety, wants mommy all the time.
-Giana loves to play with toddlers, not anyone her age hahaha.

Happy Easter 2012

This Easter was great! It was Georgiana's first and of course she was spoiled. She LOVED all the stuffed animals she got, a little chick, a chicken, a duck, and two teddy bears. She got bunny ears, her own "phone", clothes, a minnie mouse hat, minnie mouse bubbles and etc..woah that kid gets too much, which most of it is from her grandparents and great grandma! Oh well I can't complain, more to keep her entertained.

Later after church we went over to my parents for dinner. We love to hang out with family. We also took some last minute family pictures.

CHUBBIEST LEGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!

8 months

Recently I really have not felt like blogging but I do it so I can have record of all the fun things Giana does so I can one day soon make scrapbooks for her.

So this past month Georgiana is growing so quickly and starting to do so many more new things.

She is 19lbs.
she started saying "mama" "mom"
She is SO close to crawling.
She does the stink bug crawling right now, so desperate to get to everything.
She slowly walks and stands up holding on to furniture.

She LOVES Blue's Clues and Backyardigans.
I sing a lullaby from the Backyardigans that she and I love, it goes:
Rest my little darling
You’ve had a busy day
The sun is a'falling
And it’s time for me to say

Hush, hush, hush little mermaid,
Good night.
Hush, hush little mermaid,
Sleep tight.
Close your eyes,
Close your eyes and lay down your head,
In your peaceful ocean bed.
Have a snooze, please, like I said and
Hush, hush, hush little mermaid,
Good night.
Hush little mermaid,
Sleep tight.

That's only half the song but i love it. puts her to sleep everytime.

She is continuing to wave hi and bye...she has started clapping.
She also uses her pointer finger and thumb to pick up and eat anything and everything thats on the floor.
She loves strawberries
Here is a picture of her eating a sour strawberry. haha

This is going to be a short post. I just wanna write down all the highlights of this past month because its been a big one.

Georgiana:

had two teeth come in this month and she looks adorable with them!
Waves Hi and bye to everyone!
Her hair is growing fast and thick!
She is looking more and more like Brian everyday!
She pulls herself up unto things (basket, bathtub etc..)

Her great grandmother got her this baby doll! She cuddles, kisses, and holds her hand like it's her own baby! its adorable! aww doesn't she just melt your heart?

We love having picnics and hiking! For the first time Giana did both this past month! She also got a little sunburn :( poor girl but I don't really think it bothered her. She just had a red face.

Michael and Amber's wedding

My cousin Michael got married last Saturday to a wonderful girl, Amber! It was such a fun day and a lovely ceremony held in my Aunt Kathy's backyard (also where Brian and I had our wedding reception two years ago).

(All photographs were taken by my talented cousin Holly Aprecio)

The beautiful couple.

notice the key above? well you'll find that in Giana's mouth in the picture below. haha

Phoenix Zoo

This past Friday Brian, Giana, and I went to the zoo with my family who came into town for my cousin's wedding.

It was so nice to get to hang out with them and have Gigi experience her first time at the zoo! She didn't pay attention to most of the animals, but she did like the pigs and the petting zoo. She was scared of the goats at first but then warmed up to them by trying to rip out their fur/hair.

The Phoenix Zoo has a cool place where the small monkeys are in the same area as you. They could jump on you if they wanted (But they almost never do). The workers told me to take Georgiana's flower off her head as the monkeys may come jump on her head for it. haha

I love watching Orangutans. They are so awesome!

Below are some pictures with Gigi on some elephants:

This massive jaguar was crazy close to us.

My Aunt Jackie, Cousin Holly and her son, Sam.

Brian wants these Hong Kong orchids in our backyard.
And at this point Giana was pretty worn out. She fell asleep in the monkey cage and I carried her the rest of the way out.

Such a fun day!
