And it turned out to be the best Christmas ever...

First off I hope all our family and friends had a great Christmas! Christmas is my favorite holiday because I get to spend it with the people I care most about.

Unfortunately, this Christmas started out rough. Giana and I had been sick the past few weeks and on Wednesday Georgiana got even worse. Christmas Eve we ended up spending some time in the Phoenix Children's Urgent Care because Georgiana had a high fever and was having an extremely tough time breathing. She has croup which can get really bad, but fortunately we live in a time where we have wonderful medicines at our disposal and she was given a kind of steroid to open up her throat. One hour after that was given she was able to breathe and sleep through the night. We feel so blessed to have our Georgiana doing better, that was my greatest gift of all this Christmas.

Onto happier news, after a great nights sleep we woke up to some wonderful presents under the tree.

Gigi and I got this from Brian. A Jeep Liberty walker, at long last we have a jeep again! hahah and Giana LOVES it! We also got clothes and fun toys.

Brian got Star Wars on Blu-ray and this shirt from Gigi:

so cute.

Georgiana was very spoiled by her Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncle, and Great Grandma. She got TONS of toys, clothes, and an awesome highchair.

For my family we got them Just Dance 3 and a painting Gigi made.
We LOVED playing the game.

Doesn't this look so fabulous? it was hard to do but so worth it!

I love this picture of Georgiana with my dad. She likes to touch everyone's faces. so adorable. ♥

Holiday Family Pictures

We took our first holiday pictures as a family together this year and they turned out great! Georgiana refused to smile for the photographer but she still looked adorable. I also think our Christmas cards turned out nicely!

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

Georgiana meets Santa

At our ward party they had Santa Claus come visit the kids, luckily I had the good camera and was able to get pictures fast and quick, capturing something special!

The first few pictures she was liking the attention looking around at everyone. Then she notices Santa and being the mischievous girl she is she... pulls down Santa's beard. Fortunately I don't think any kids saw. hahah Poor Santa

Thanksgiving 2011

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. Ours was special just because we had our sweet Georgiana with us. This time last year we told both our families at Thanksgiving dinner that we were pregnant. Lots of happy tears...good memories.

Hanging with the fam:

She loves her Grandpa, Grandma, and Auntie Savanna.

We attempted to take pictures of Giana and I. But [quickly] gave up.

That day we also decorated our sad Christmas tree. Still a work in progress but I am so excited for Christmas!

All in all it was a day of fun, laughter, and even gained some weight from some yummy food.

23

For my birthday it started out with Brian making me breakfast and opening my presents. Brian bought me my favorite perfume Viva La Juicy.

Georgiana got me the Bumbo which is a chair she can sit in.

We went to Joe's Farm Grill (our favorite place) and went shopping for some new clothes and accessories for me. Probably my favorite part of the day was Brian NOT doing homework! yay!

Here is Giana playing with her feet and a video of her squealing.

Rice cereal

Giana tried rice cereal for the first time today and LOVED it! yay! Brian and I traded off feeding her because it was so much fun. I love my baby!

4 months

The past week Giana has started doing lots of fun new things. 1. She squeals all day long, and loves it. I'm surprised she hasn't lost her voice. 2. She laughs. the past two months she would giggle, but now she is actually laughing. 3. Georgiana is playing with her feet. She is so flexible. 4. The princess loves playing with her toys, they keep her busy while I clean or eat. 5. She talks to me like we are having a conversation. it is so exciting to watch her learn new things. Also, we are starting her on rice cereal this week!

At her four month check up she was...

15 lbs 8 oz
25 3/4 inches long

She is one fast growing girl and I'm so glad I get to be with her everyday to see the process.
