NURSERY ROOM!

My senior year in high school and two years of college I devoted everyday to interior design programs. Design is one of my passions, I can just sit and fully redesign a room in my head. I love it. So you can imagine the day we found out we were having a girl my brain started coming up with amazing ideas to spoil our baby girl.

I slowly worked on the room for five months and it came out much better than even imagined in my head. I am so proud of Brian for putting up with me and helping me make this awesome room!

Before the room was an ugly blue and tan color...Brian and I painted it creme puff yellow with pink and brown stripes adding chair railing in the middle.

I bought both the dresser and lamp from Goodwill. Painted them and made the fabric lamp shade! so cute!

-I got the chandelier for free from Brian's sister, it was silver so I painted it and added the jewels.
-Trash can was painted and I added the same rose material like I did on the lamp shade.
-Brian came up with the great idea to use the wall hanging thing as a holder for the bows and flowers for Georgiana.

I made the shelf to put the lovely baby blessing blanket my co worker made for me and in the back you can see that my amazing artist of a sister, Samantha, painted a white tree. it turned out GREAT!

Now the room is done and all it needs is our little baby girl to fill the room with memories. Less than two weeks left!

oh and p.s. I love this guy! He makes me so happy!
