January 2012

This month has been exciting!
Brian has started another semester of school with 15 flippin' credits and working full time! I don't know how he does it. I will be starting school soon also. I can't wait to start so I can learn more; I'm most excited about continuing sign language!

We had our two year anniversary this past week! It was nice but it's hard to do things without Gigi.

Georgiana has hit so many milestones I don't even know where to begin.
All I know is this girl is growing up fast and I want to enjoy every second I have with her.
She will be 7 months next week and is 17lbs 11oz. 90% in her height (very tall, her feet hang out of her car seat).

Giana can now:

sit up by herself.
hold her bottle.
says DADA!
waves. (when she feels like it.)
says Hi, hey, and yeah all the time. haha.
mi-micks what we say.
says MA (almost mama right?)
talks to her stuffed animals, her favorites are Minnie Mouse and Marie from Aristocats.
laughs at silly stuff.
plays games!
drinks water from a cup.
eats baby food. (so far she only likes green peas and squash)
reaches out for everything and everyone.
bounces!
shakes her head "yes"
She loves paper and tries to eat it any chance she gets lol.
She also loves to watch me brush my teeth and tries to do it with her little brush.

The other day I got a yoga ball to work out with and she is terrified of it. Cries anytime it comes near her. poor girl.





ah she is such a fun little girl to be around, everyone just loves her. She is ALWAYS center of attention and she likes that a lot!

And it turned out to be the best Christmas ever...

First off I hope all our family and friends had a great Christmas! Christmas is my favorite holiday because I get to spend it with the people I care most about.

Unfortunately, this Christmas started out rough. Giana and I had been sick the past few weeks and on Wednesday Georgiana got even worse. Christmas Eve we ended up spending some time in the Phoenix Children's Urgent Care because Georgiana had a high fever and was having an extremely tough time breathing. She has croup which can get really bad, but fortunately we live in a time where we have wonderful medicines at our disposal and she was given a kind of steroid to open up her throat. One hour after that was given she was able to breathe and sleep through the night. We feel so blessed to have our Georgiana doing better, that was my greatest gift of all this Christmas.

Onto happier news, after a great nights sleep we woke up to some wonderful presents under the tree.


Gigi and I got this from Brian. A Jeep Liberty walker, at long last we have a jeep again! hahah and Giana LOVES it! We also got clothes and fun toys.


Brian got Star Wars on Blu-ray and this shirt from Gigi:

so cute.

Georgiana was very spoiled by her Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncle, and Great Grandma. She got TONS of toys, clothes, and an awesome highchair.





For my family we got them Just Dance 3 and a painting Gigi made.
We LOVED playing the game.


Doesn't this look so fabulous? it was hard to do but so worth it!

Holiday Family Pictures

We took our first holiday pictures as a family together this year and they turned out great! Georgiana refused to smile for the photographer but she still looked adorable. I also think our Christmas cards turned out nicely!

Georgiana meets Santa

At our ward party they had Santa Claus come visit the kids, luckily I had the good camera and was able to get pictures fast and quick, capturing something special!



The first few pictures she was liking the attention looking around at everyone.Then she notices Santa and being the mischievous girl she is she... pulls down Santa's beard. Fortunately I don't think any kids saw. hahah Poor Santa

Thanksgiving 2011

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. Ours was special just because we had our sweet Georgiana with us. This time last year we told both our families at Thanksgiving dinner that we were pregnant. Lots of happy tears...good memories.
